The Faculty Manager directly responsible for the management of the faculty at US Education. Primary duties include responsibility for training and/or developing online faculty in the delivery of their courses. Selected candidate will have the option to work from home based on their proximity to the Wood Dale IL office. If candidate is within reasonable commuting distance, position will be located in the Wood Dale office.

1. Responsible for compiling data from instructor and student feedback and other feedback such as Balanced Scorecard information to analyze the success of the faculty members. 2. Maintain communication with continuing faculty throughout the session, guiding, encouraging and suggesting new ideas and improvement practices. The FM should use quality assurance tools to ensure active classroom participation, monitor grading and feedback, conduct classroom observations and follow up on exceptions. The faculty will need to then follow up on student complaints about quality and delivery issues. 3. Assist in the preparation and presentation of US Education faculty workshops. Develop online faculty and help build a sense of community within the US Education. Identify and share new practices and teaching tools that enhance course content, improve online teaching effectiveness, and increase instructor productivity. Act as a general resource person for assigned faculty members. Participate in the design, development and implementation of faculty development process improvement programs. 4. Participate in US Education school wide teams and participate in regular and special US Education Academic Team meetings. Perform other duties as assigned.

The holder of this position must possess a minimum of a master's degree from a regionally accredited institution and possess high-level training, communications, and organizational skills. A minimum of 5 years teaching experience is required with demonstration of high scores in student satisfaction. This position requires the holder to effectively relate to other online faculty; therefore, the holder of this position will be expected to regularly teach online courses on a contract basis.
